Our youngest, he who cannot be named, came in over the weekend. He had his first experience weed-eating. He also worked up the soil in tunnel A so David and I could plant our second rotation of beans. He came back to help plant potatoes with his brother Lucas on Wednesday; we planted 200 lbs. David and I went back on Thursday and planted another 50 lbs.

The plants in the tunnels made it through the night, even the beans. However our third rotation of peas, which were outside, took a hit. They may make a come back so we are leaving them for now.

David tying up the Fava beans in tunnel A. The onions and Scarlet kale will be harvest for Tuesday’s market, this will make room for our next rotation of beans.

Because we did not go to market for two weeks tunnel B got away from us and went to seed.

The peas in tunnel C are doing great!
