A Short Vacation

For the past several months we have been rising at four a.m. on Saturdays in order to be at the Grandin Village Community Market by six so we could be set up and be ready to sell by eight, the time the market opened.

This morning we lollygagged in bed, drinking coffee, until 7:30. When we arose we were greeted by sunshine and our first frost of the season, which means it’s time to plant the garlic. Oh well, that was a short but enjoyable respite.

11-9-14 The soil was too wet on Sturday to put in the garlic but is was just right today.
