Ah, not another poem!

They must know

February is coming to an end

The sky is gray again

Snow or rain may fall

My mind is as fragile as a china doll

But wait, I hear a call

bottom2a

The green tips of daffodils are forced from below

The leaf buds of honeysuckle are beginning their show

The warrior of winter will soon arch his bow

And the arrows of this cold stark season will quickly go

For the Zephyrs of Spring will soon blow

Are We Crazy Yet?

Rain on top of 21 inches of snow on top of mud from previous rainfalls, along with cold temperatures and cabin fever, is enough to make one think they are living in Scotland during the 13th century or James Herriot’s Yorkshire.

After Thoughts…

Tunnal Collapse a Hare Raising Event

Now that the rescue operation has come to an end and the survivors triaged, David of TPG, the head excavator took a moment to be interviewed. He was a bit disappointed with the turnout to help save the Brassica family. He believes that if it were the Solanaceae Family that had been trapped, there would have been more help forth coming. However, he said that members of the Sylvilagus clan did offer to help until they found out that most of the victims were of the Mustard side of the family. At that point they high tailed it and disappeared.

“I believe they had ulterior motives when they offered to help” David confided.
